Prominent kidney surgeon Professor Dr Adib-ul-Hassan Rizvi has stressed the need for provision of medical facilities to the poor and needy patients, especially the kidney patients.
Inaugurating the new building of Mohhini Surgical and Trauma Centre in the Tara Chand Hospital, Surgeon Adib-ul-Hassan Rizvi expressed the hope that the well-equipped trauma centre would provide best possible medical facilities to the people of Hyderabad.
He said the centre needed public co-operation and government assistance, and called upon the philanthropists to realise their responsibilities and help the poor and needy patients. He also called upon the journalists and doctors to create awareness among masses about the healthcare. Sindh University Vice Chancellor Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddique, in his welcome address, said the centre would play an important role in providing medical facilities to the poor people.
