A surplus budget of over Rs 855.737 million was presented for the fiscal year 2007-08 before the Gadap Town Council, which was approved after deep deliberations here on Thursday.
The budget, presented by Nazim Gadap Town, Ghulam Murtaza Baloch, along with Abdul Sattar Brohi, Naib Nazim and Town Municipal Officer, Ashfaq Mallah, envisaged a total revenue target of Rs 855.737 million while setting an expenditure plan totalling Rs 850.05 million, said a press release.
