Microsoft will hold a series of its annual Developer Conferences in major cities of the country from June 19. Representatives of 18 partner organisations of Microsoft will attend these 'Pakistan Developer Conferences 2007' being arranged in cities including Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
Giving details of these conferences in a press briefing, a Microsoft Country Manager Kamal Ahmad said on June 11 that Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Owais Ahmad Khan Laghari would inaugurate the conference here.
He said Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad would be the chief guest at concluding session of the conference to be held in Karachi. He said these conferences are important for IT professionals to inform them about the modern technologies being introduced in the sector.
He said that so far 7,000 people had registered themselves to attend the event and to get information from IT experts and regional heads. He said the Microsoft had invited outstanding exerts in IT sector from USA, Canada, England, France, Middle East and African regions. He said Microsoft has already arranged four conferences in the country on relevant issues.
