City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has banned the production and usage of polyethylene bags and the violators would face imprisonment for six months. The ban is quite right as polyethylene bags are a source of pollution. But this ban should also provide an alternative source of income to the people associated with the business of polyethylene bags.
