The DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri has declared Rain Emergency in the WASA HDA and cancelled leaves of staff to meet with any eventuality during current monsoon season.
In his directive DCO Hyderabad has instructed the management of the WASA to put its all resources including staff and machinery and ensure efficient disposal of stagnant water due to rain from the low laying areas.
He further directed that all the sewerage pumping machines and complaint centres in different areas are made functional and contingency plan for rain emergency should be implemented in letter & spirit.
The DCO Hyderabad also directed all the DDOs Revenue and TMOs of the district to be more vigilant and work out strategy for providing relief to the rain victims in case of any emergency. He said that he himself would visit the different areas to observe the work performance as per the directions.
