Madina Town Council (MTC) has approved the surplus budget of its Town Municipal Administration. Town Nazim, Chaudhry Ali Akhtar Khan presented the budget in the house for its approval.
Addressing the session, he said that total outlay of the town had been estimated at Rs 334.839 million while its expenditures would be Rs 334.141 million during financial year 2007-2008, out of which, Rs 98.34 million had been allocated for non-development schemes whereas Rs 234.881 million would be spent on the development projects. He mentioned that Rs 74.7 million had been earmarked for ongoing schemes while Rs 7.03 million had been allocated for the Citizen Community Boards.
