Nazim visits rain-affected areas

Nazim New Karachi Town Mohammad Hanif Sorti on Tuesday visited rain-affected areas of the town and supervised rescue work including cleanliness of roads and drains. In Union Council No 4, he supervised the power restoration work and ordered officials to continue rescue operation in view of ongoing torrential rains.
He said that town had already declared emergency in its limits while the leaves of relevant staff had also been cancelled. The Nazim asked citizens to extend co-operation with town administration for rescue work and make complaints at rain emergency centers of the town.
