Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that members and office-bearers of other political parties are joining Pakistan Muslim League (PML) in a large number, as they are deeply impressed with its mass contact campaign, reforms agenda, politics of tolerance and development strategy.
He said that the government will extend full support to those who will supplement its efforts of public service and development process in their areas will be consolidated.
He expressed these views during a meeting with a leader of Pakistan Peoples Party from Lahore Cantt., and former ticket holder for provincial constituency Abaad Mahmood Qureshi and Muslim League (Nawaz) leaders Khadim Hussain, Wajid Hussain and Muhammad Shahid who joined Pakistan Muslim League, here on Tuesday.
The chief minister welcomed the new entrants into Pakistan Muslim League and observed it will further strengthen the party in the forthcoming elections. He said that PML is fully capable to deal with any challenge and is playing an exemplary role for the solution of national issues.
Provincial Minister for Information Technology, Abdul Aleem Khan said that joining of PML by office-bearers of PPP and N-League would further strengthen the party and improve its capacity to deal with political challenges.
