The volume amounted to 226,457,000 shares, which was 54.97 percent of market total and 90.38 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 411,960,720 and 250,551,500 shares, respectively.
BR Tech & Comm Index was again the most active sector. It closed at 2,003.34 with a net downward change of -39.27 points or -1.92 percent. The volume of this sector was 89,794,700 shares. BR Cement Index was the second most active sector. It closed at 1,972.56 with a net negative change of -17.24 points or -0.87 percent. The volume was 63,373,900 shares.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the third most active sector. It closed at 6,181.93 with a net negative change of -70.24 points or -1.12 percent. The turnover for this sector was 55,485,100 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,575.08 with an upward change of 4.73 points or 0.30 percent.
The turnover for this sector was 28,567,100 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,220.56 with a net negative change of -11.5 points or -0.52 percent. The volume was 24,316,700 shares, which was the lowest among BR Indices.
