Six soldiers among 11 killed in suicide attack

At least 11 people, including six soldiers, were killed on Wednesday when an explosive-laden vehicle rammed into a military convoy in Bannu, near Peshawar, officials said. Thirteen people, including eight soldiers, were also injured in the attack. Two injured soldiers are said to be in critical condition.
"The convoy was targeted this morning when it was travelling from Bannu to Mir Ali," Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Waheed Arshad told Deutsche Presse-Agentur. "It was a suicide attack," he added.
