Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) member Sindh Assembly, Abdul Rehman Rajput on Wednesday said due to irresponsibility of Wasa and district government authorities, sewerage has become worse problem at Gaoshala gate, Hyderabad.
He said just banners could be seen hanging in the name of development to make people fool, while no practical steps had been taken so far to meet the problem. Though rains played havoc to the city, sanitary staff does not come to duty, which has created sanitation problem.
All the neighbouring roads are seen flooded in sewerage water forcing people to stop their business activities. Flowing sewerage water in the streets and busy roads has exposed the performance of district government and Wasa, he said. He said officials of the concerned departments had failed to pay heed over the complaints of citizens.
