Punjab government has decided to provide shelter to the female students of Jamia Hafsa at different institutions of Social Welfare Department. On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Adviser to Chief Minister on Social Welfare Saba Sadiq is holding a meeting on Friday (today) at Rawalpindi to devise plan to adjust the female students of Jamia Hafsa at Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal and Rawalpindi in the first phase.
Saba Sadiq told newsmen that Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has shown humanitarian spirit on this issue and social welfare department would use all its energies to 'accommodate' these ladies. She said that the government has tackled Lal Masjid issue amicably. She averred that concerned authorities have been asked to ensure arrangements at Darul Amans, Darul Falah and Kashanas to accommodate Jamia Hafsa ladies.
