Essential items showed rising trend. Plastic mouldings showed mixed trend while raw rubber, cottonseed cakes, rapeseed etc depicted down trend on the wholes commodity markets during the week ended on July 7, 2007. Only couples of rates were left over and they were masoor and masoor dal depicting up trend.
Masoor Australian rose sharply by Rs 400 to Rs 3800 and masoor dal was up Rs 300 to Rs 4400. Wheat old with Bardana rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1220 and better type was seen at Rs 1235.
On the week opening day essential commodities showed rising trend. Rapeseed Nawabshah rose by Rs 40 to Rs 1150, while better type rose by Rs 35 to Rs 1135. Rapeseed from Dadn rose by Rs 25 to Rs 950 and good type gained Rs 40 to Rs 975. Rapeseed from Mirpur rose by Rs 55 to Rs 1090 while better type rose by Rs 45 to Rs 1095.
Rapeseed cakes however shed Rs 5 to Rs 370 while other type was quoted at Rs 375. Cottonseed cakes with bag better type shed Rs 45 to Rs 555 while the other type was put at Rs 400. Irri rice 6 rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1610 and better type was quoted at Rs 1640.
On Jodia Bazar raw Rubber from Ceylon (per LB) retreated by Rs 5 to Rs 70, pale crap TPC 3 also retreated losing Rs 4 to Rs 75, latex seminar Tex retreated by Rs 50 to Rs 510 and Thai (GT) down by Rs 50 to Rs 510.
On Tuesday at Jodia Bazar price changes were seen in Plastic mouldings HDPE film (per LB) Saudia 952 rose by Rs 2.75 to Rs 53.75, Mobil rose by Rs 2.75 to Rs 53.75, and TR 144 closed higher by Rs 2.56 to Rs 53.25, HDPE injection Sabic 200056 retreated by Re 1 to Rs 52 Mobil 016 rose by Rs 2 to Rs 52 and Iran rose by Rs 1.50 to Rs 50.50 HDPE blow Kuwait rose by R 2.50 to Rs 53,and Iran was up by Rs 2 to Rs 52.50, LDPE 374 moved higher by Rs 3.25 to Rs 55.25, MG 20 ended higher by Rs 2 to Rs 53 and MG 70 was quoted at Rs 56, LLDEP 118 closed lower by Rs 3.25 to Rs 53, 7087 was quoted at Rs 53 and Sabic 500026 rose by Rs 7 to Rs 58, polypropylene film Thai closed higher by Rs 2 to Rs 51, polypropylene tape grade India closed with a gain of Re1 to Rs 49, Kuwait rose by Re 1 to Rs 49, and Saudia gained Re 1 to Rs 49, polypropylene injection grade Thai rose by Re 1 to Rs 49, and Kuwait gained Re 1 to Rs 49, polypropylene Pak was quoted at Rs 3240. Copoly block quoted at Rs 52.25 and Random quoted at Rs 5, high impact (per bag) Pak quoted at Rs 3330 and ISSF rose by 100 to Rs 3400, ABS polylac 707 rose by Rs 50 to Rs 3500, Iran gained Rs 100 to Rs 3450.
Grram Australia rose with sharp gain of Rs 706 to Rs 3500 while better type was quoted at Rs 3600, gram garda Punjab rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2750 while better type was quoted at Rs 2850, beelte chana I rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3050 and better was quoted at Rs 3200, beetle 50x50 rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2875 and better quoted at Rs 2975, dal beetle rose by Rs 200 to Rs 3500 abd better quoted at Rs 3600.
On Wednesday some essential items like masoor dal again recorded a rise of Rs 200 to Rs 4600. Wheat old and new with bardana rose sharply by Rs 15 to Rs 1250 while the other type was quoted at Rs 1265. Irri 6 Sindh turned higher further by Rs 10 to Rs 1620 and other type was seen at Rs 1650. Cottonseed cakes, strangely was showing down ward trend and lost Rs 30 but better type saw a gain of Rs 5.
On Thursday some changes were marked. Bases China dyes (per pound) bule BB was quoted at Rs 400. Seartet G closed higher by Rs 10 to RS 110. Red RC 100 pc closed higher by Rs 10 to Rs 200. Bardeax GP turned higher by Rs 10 to Rs 185, orange GC was higher by Rs 10 to Rs 185, red B closed higher by Rs 10 to Rs 190. Gamet GBC up by Rs 100. Golden yellow from China x GLO 250 pc up by Rs 5 to Rs 195, Red x GLO 250 pc Closed higher by Rs 5 to Rs 185.
Elsewhere sugar was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3600, better type up Rs 45 to Rs 2725. Cottonseed cakes inferior type lost Rs 20 to Rs 350, better type up by Rs 30 to Rs 600. Wheat old and new rose by Rs 35 to Rs 1285 and better type was quoted at Rs 1300. Irri 6 Sindh low type lost Rs 10 to Rs 1610 the other type was uncharged.
On Friday. Kiran item like cloves rose by Rs 50 to Rs 10250 and copra Ceylon quoted at Rs 2800. Elsewhere no change was marked. On Saturday incrase was seen in prices of wheat, Ieei 6 Sindh, cottonseed oilcake and sugar.
