ICT issues 1,000 curfew passes

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) management has issued about 1,000 curfew passes to inhabitants of G-6 to facilitate their movement. ICT Chief Commissioner, Khalid Pervez on Sunday told PTV that owners of 150 stores, including grocery, vegetable, poultry, medicine, etc had been allowed to open their shops in curfew-hit areas to ensure supply of edibles to people in abundance.
Various banks situated in the area had also been allowed to provide services to their clients, he said. Furthermore 1,200 food packets have been provided to low-income people of G-6. Each packet contains flour, tea, milk and rice enough for one-week needs of a normal family. Pakistan Muslim League workers had also been allowed to visit the area and provide essential items to people during curfew brakes, he said.
