Tributes paid to Fatima Jinnah

The 40th death anniversary of the Madar-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah was observed here on Monday like other parts of the country. Nazria-e-Pakistan Foundation arranged Quran Khawani at Majlis-e-Karkunan-e-Pakistan for the eternal peace of the Madar-e-Millat.
Later, at a function, speakers paid glowing tributes to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah for her services for the cause of Pakistan. They said Fatima Jinnah who was born in Karachi on July 31, 1893 devoted all her life for her brother and worked with him shoulder to shoulder in the Pakistan Movement. She led the Muslim League women on the directive of Quaid-i-Azam and the nation on her great services awarded her the title of Madar-e-Millat.
