The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has selected 16 officers of BS 19-20 of Customs and Excise Group on double pay package for Model Customs Collectorates (MCCs). The following BS 20-19 of Customs and Excise Group have qualified the IJP process for the position of the collector:
Munir Qureshi, collector appraisement, Karachi; Muhammad Arshad, collector, Sales Tax and Central Excise, Gujranwala; Muhammad Bakhsh Tahir, director, (I&I) (C&E), Lahore; Muhammad Ashraf Khan, collector customs, Rawalpindi; Hafiq Muhammad Jamil Owaisi, collector, ST&CE, Multan; Riffat A. Hasan, collector customs, Port Qasim, Karachi; Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed, project director, Karachi; Nisar Muhammad, collector, Karachi; Ghulam Ahmed, collector ST & CE Collectorate, Karachi; Rozi Khan Burki, collector customs, Peshawar; Abdus Samee Babar, collector customs, ST & CE, Quetta; Ali Salman Abbasi, collector customs, Lahore; Muhammad Yahya, collector customs (preventive), Karachi; Shafqat Mahmud, collector (ST&FE enforcement), Karachi; Fateh M. Sheikh, director, Directorate of Training (DOT), Karachi; and Junaid Akram, collector. The following officers of BS 19-20 of Customs/Excise and Direct Taxes Groups have qualified the IJP process:
Anisul Hasnain Musavi, commissioner, Karachi; Maqbool Hussain Shah, commissioner, Islamabad; Syed Jalaluddin Shah, collector (OPS), Hyderabad & Quetta; and Shaukat Ali, collector (OPS), Karachi.
Through another notification, Muhammad Zulfiqar Ali, a BS-19 officer of Income Tax Group, at present, posted as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Bahawalpur Zone, Bahawalpur is transferred and made OSD (BS-19) in Commissioner of Income Tax, Multan Zone, Multan with immediate effect.
Zafar Iqbal, additional commissioner (E&IP), Rahim Yar Khan has been transferred and posted as additional commissioner, Income, Tax, Bahawalpur Zone, Bahawalpur.
Iqbal, additional commissioner, Income Tax, Bahawalpur Zone, Bahawalpur has been allowed to look after the work of Bahawalpur Zone, Bahawalpur, in additional to his own duties.
The following officers of Income Tax Group have been selected through the process of internal job posting on special pay basis (equivalent to 100 percent of basic pay) from July 6, 2007:
Anisul Hasnain Musavi, commissioner, Income Tax (Appeals-I), Karachi and Maqbool Hussain BS-20 commissioner, Income Tax (Appeals), Islamabad, would continue to work on the specialised positions at the same places.
Following officers of Customs and Excise Group have been selected through the process of internal job posting on special pay basis (equivalent to 100 percent of basic pay) from July 6:
Syed Jalaluddin Shah (BS-19), collector (OPS), Customs, ST & FE (Appeals), Hyderabad and Khan Sarwar BS-19 collector (OPS), Customs, ST & FE (Appeals), Rawalpindi, would continue to work on the same position.
