Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (Pacra) and National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) have jointly assigned the developer grading of 'PE 1' to Emaar DHA Islamabad Limited (EDIL).
The grading denotes very strong project execution capacity with most promising prospects of execution of real estate projects as per plan and the highest ability to transfer ownership as per terms. This is the highest grading in the Pacra's scale.
EDIL enjoys a clear edge over most of real estate developers working in Pakistan mainly because of its strong affiliation with Emaar Properties, which has completed multiple projects with more than 15,000 housing units. It is following the same robust system of procedures, policies and controls employed elsewhere by Emaar.
EDIL would not be directly undertaking any material activity relating to any of its projects. All major activities, including designing, land development, construction, and supervision would be outsourced to specialists in these fields.
EDIL, while identifying the right resource for a particular task and ensuring the enabling environment for execution of different activities, would be mainly involved in concept design of the project and monitoring of different activities to ensure timely completion.-PR
