ISLAMABAD: Former Inspector General of Police Dr Shoaib Suddle has been elected President and Senior Superintendent of Police Mirvais Niaz as General Secretary of International Police Association (IPA) Pakistan.
In the election of the National Executive Council of IPA (Pakistan), police sources Monday said Dr Shoaib Suddle (PSP) had been elected as President for four years. Shabbir Shaikh (PSP Ex IGP of Sindh) was elected vice president.
Mirvais Niaz (PSP) had been elected as General Secretary, Parvez Butt as Treasurer, Akhtar Achakzai as Assistant Secretary General and Shehla Qureshi as Assistant Treasurer.
The election was followed by a meeting of the National Council which was also attended by Chairman Punjab Region former Director General Federal Investigation Agency Ghalib Bandesha, Chairman Sindh Region Deputy Inspector General Khaliq Shaikh and Chairman Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Region.
