In the wake of present critical situation prevailing in Energy Sector of the country, a mega event Energy Asia 2007 is going to take place in the provincial metropolis on August 7-8.
The International Conference on Investments and Development of the Energy Sector would be the major part of this show, a thorough review of the practices and display of the Energy Technologies covering equipment, machinery and services would be made on this occasion.
The venture has been planned by "The Development Times"- an exclusive newsmagazine of development and engineering beat. University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Board of Investment, Pakistan Power and Infrastructure Board, Government of Pakistan, Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Pakistan and Engineers Study Forum have decided to collaborate with Development Times in organising this mega event.
A sizeable number of experts are being invited to present technical papers on various aspects of the Energy Sector including power, solar energy, nuclear, development petroleum and gas scenarios.
In the Expo, to be held in conjunction with the conference, will cover power equipment generators, UPS, GAS Equipment, Materials and CNG equipment etc. The major manufacturers of the energy equipment have made reservation of the stalls. They include Sui Northern Gas Pipeline co, Siemens, Sapphire Group, MAS Co, Greaves Group, PEL, AREVA, Elmetic and many others top players of the sector. The show is expected to attract a large number of executives, professionals and intellectuals involved in energy production and conservation.
