The Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) on Saturday turned down the demand of the prosecution for extending the physical remand of four Lal Masjid students and a lawyer and sent them to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
Prosecution pleaded before the Judge Sakhi Muhammad Kahut of Anti-Terrorist Court for Rawalpindi Division and Federal Capital that these persons were needed for further investigations so the physical remand may be extended.
Prosecution presented four Lal Masjid students including Muhammad, Muhammad Waqar, Suhail and Afzal and lawyer Wajeehullah pleaded that they are main accused in kidnapping of Chinese nationals from F-8 sector of Islamabad.
