Unilever Pakistan recently has signed an MOU with the Beaconhouse University (BNU) to provide scholarship support to four deserving students. Sartaj Aziz, Vice Chancellor signed on behalf of the BNU, while Unilever was represented by Ehsan Malik, Chairman Unilever Pakistan Limited.
Through this MOU Unilever has committed four annual scholarships to Liberal Arts students who qualify on merit but require financial support to study at BNU. The new agreement with BNU will be effective from the academic year 2007-2008 Sartaj Aziz introduced the university and said BNU got HEC charter in 2003.
He also said, BNU had 650 enrolled students and by the next academic year the number of students would be up to 750. Talking about the scholarships, Ehsan Malik said Unilever was delighted to partner with Beaconhouse National University by supporting four deserving students.-PR
