Japanese rider Hiroshi Aoyama of KTM won the 250cc category of the German motorcycling Grand Prix here on Sunday ahead of Finland's Mika Kallio and Alex De Angelis of San Marino. Aprilia's De Angelis, still looking for his first success this season, had to settle for his seventh podium finish despite leading until the final lap.
Aoyama achieved the fourth success of his career and first this year. Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo of Spain fought back from a bad start to finish fourth and holdS a 20-point advantage on De Angelis.
