District Hyderabad Police killed two alleged absconded criminals in an encounter on late Monday night. Giving details about the operation, the DIG Operation, Hyderabad Commander Shaukat Ali Shah at a press conference here on Tuesday.
The SP Investigation received an information from a spy that dacoit Rahim Nandho and his gang was present in the jurisdiction of Hali road police station. SP along with his team cordoned off the entire area and raided the place where the dacoits were hiding.
On seeing police, the alleged criminals started firing and in return police also fired resulting in death of Usman alias Deedar Kandhero, while a police constable Talib and dacoit Rahim Nandho received serious injuries.
The gang members identified as Muhammad Fareed Siyal, Ahmed Ali Detho, Wajid Ali Detho and Rafiqq alias Makoko tried to escape from the spot by taking injured Rahim Nandho, but police chased them and succeeded to arrest Rahim with his accomplices. Rahim Nandho succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. The DIG Operation, Hyderabad said that the further investigation was in progress.
