Nazim Potohar Town, Hamid Nawaz Raja has again warned the masses to beware of agents of bogus and fake housing societies with attractive advertisements. Spokesman of the Potohar Town, Qazi Attaur Rehman said the town is taking strict legal action against fake and bogus housing societies.
He warned the masses not to incline towards attractive advertisements being published by the owners of these societies. He disclosed that some housing societies did not even exist and using different tactics including change of name. Among these societies are Al-Raheem near Chakri Road, Gulistan Batgram near Adiala Road, Gulshan-e-Islam near Chakri Road Al-Haram Block, Mubashar Town, Green Valley, Gulshan-e-Kashmir, Khan Model Town, Sarah Town, Green City, Jafferia Town, Pindi Dairy town, Gulshan Shehryar, Pak PWD, New Islamabad City, Daniyal Town, Imtiaz Town, Pir Mehr Ali Shah Town, Motorway Town, Shadabad, Gulshan Kashmir, Saad Town, Sanam Valley, Qartiba Farming, Hina Town, Gulshan Mingral, Dubai City, Gulf City, New Iqra City, Asia Housing Scheme, Al-Jannat City, Peace City and PARC Cooperative.
He said all these said societies have no legal status. He warned the masses to avoid these societies while taking any kind of decision as regards to real estate. He said documents of Classic City and Posh City have been cancelled, which were submitted to the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA).
He said documents of National Garden, National Agro City, Mujahid Town and Khan Village are also incomplete and directives have been issued to these societies to complete their documents.
The spokesman further said that letters have been sent to Sui Gas, Wapda and Telephone Departments not to provide basic facilities to these housing societies.
