Now people of Skardu and adjoining areas will get professional health services. As per of its corporate responsibility programme, Telenor Pakistan has provided free handsets and connections to the Baltistan Health and Education Foundation (BHEF) to enable its medical staff to make its services easily available to the people of the area.
The aim of the project is to take the tele-health facilities further and explore the possibilities as to how hospitals and clinics can be linked via mobile camera phones to provide medical help to the patients in far-flung areas.-PR
