Bulls returned in the front seat on Wednesday at the Islamabad Stock Exchange where fresh buying spree in hot favourites moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index gained 12.25 points as the index moved from 3,042.75 to 3,055.00 points.
The overall turnover stood at 20,74,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,560,300 shares. A total of 132 companies were quoted on the ready-board. Majority of stocks (86) closed in positive territory, 46 landed in minus territory, whereas zero companies remained pegged to its previous levels.
The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 408,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 743,100 shares. The volume of Lucky Cement was 277,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 190,500 shares. The volume of Bosicar Pakistan was 436,800 shares.
