The Save Judiciary Committee's (SJC) members marched a rally on Mall road here on Thursday against the detention of Dr Qadeer and demanded for his immediate release.
Addressing the protesters Committee Convenor Abdul Rashid Qureshi said that his committee had nominated Dr Qadeer for the next presidential elections and opposition members of parliament also assured their support in this regard.
He said, 'Organisation had nominated Dr Qadeer for the coming presidential elections without consulting him and also demanded to allow exile political leaders to return back their home country. Secretary Main Jamil and Engineer Saleem Ullah Khan also addressed the gathering.
