Former Prime Minister and PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto on Saturday avoided to categorically refuting the reports regarding her meeting with General Pervez Musharraf.
"It is not needed to refute the reports of the meeting as the Awan-i-Sadar and the spokesman of the President General Pervez Musharraf have already denied the reports of the meeting" she said in an interview with Aaj TV. Benazir avoided to comment over the meeting, however, she said that the efforts were made from both the sides for rapprochement, but still there were differences between PPP and government over some issues.
Answering a question about President uniform ex Prime Minister said that president in uniform could not share government with the civilians. She added that European Union has also stressed that President should remove his uniform and give up his military post Talking about tribal areas she said that government has totally failed to control tribal areas and United State has said that if Pakistan failed to cope up the situation in tribal areas than US might attack.
When she was asked about Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed statement that the talks were fruitful she said that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed could better answer it.
PPP Chairperson told that in the past government has insisted to hold talks with Peoples Party by negating her personality but his party workers and leaders are loyal to him and they did not accept any formula of government minus Benazir Bhutto.
