The ACCA Pakistan is organising an annual quiz competition for ACCA learning partnership institutions' students in August this year. Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi will hold the provincial competitions on August 6, 7 and 13 and final one will be in Lahore on August 28.
Mr Xulfi, from a popular Pakistani music band "CALL", will be the chief guest at the first provincial competition at Ali Institute of Education, sponsored by the Financial Training Company.
Up to 60 contestants may participate in the quiz in all three regions. ACCA tuition providers, ACCA members and supporters of the participating teams will also take part. The quiz will focus on subjects, such as accounting, finance, tax, law and general knowledge.
Winners will get certificates, trophies and Rs 225, 000 cash prize. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, the ACCA arranges various programmes and also encourages its students, affiliates institutions and members to contribute towards the development of our society. Winning teams at each round of the quiz have volunteered to donate part of their prize money to the Sahara for Life Trust led by singer Abrar-ul-Haq.
