A two-member AFC delegation inspected the C-Block Ground of Model Town Football Club (MTFC) here on Thursday to decide whether the venue is equipped with required facilities to act as training field of third AFC President's Cup from 20-30 September 2007.
The AFC delegation was comprised of Shin Mangil, venue manager of the 8-club show, and Imtiaz Rehman. The delegation, alongwith PFF officials, checked and inspected the facilities including the playing field, floodlights, dressing room etc. They praised the lush green grass of MTFC's Ground and hoped that teams will feel lot of comfort on playing this field surrounded by greenish environment. MTFC's Secretary General Mian Rizwan Ali, praised Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for picking his ground as one of the training fields during third AFC President's Cup.
