National Assembly body condoles member's death

A meeting of National Assembly Standing Committee on Population Welfare was held on Friday. Gul-e-Farkhanda presided over the meeting that decided to postpone the proceedings due to sad demise of its member, Riffat Amjad.
The committee paid rich tribute to Amjad regarded her a dedicated parliamentarian and an active member of the committee on Population Welfare. The committee prayed for the departed soul and extended condolence to her bereaved family.
Bushra Anwar Sipra,Kaniz Aisha Munawar,Inayat Begum and senior officials of ministry were also present in the meeting.
