Keeping in view the global and local perspective, the Japanese government has decided to provide technical assistance to strengthen Tevta sector in Pakistan, said Ms Noriko Hara, Project Formulation Advisor on Education of Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica), in a meeting with Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Secretary M. Arshad Bhatti here at the Tevta Secretariat.
While narrating the future plans of Jica regarding technical assistance to Pakistan, Ms Noriko Hara said a few polytechnic and technical training institutes had been selected for up-gradation and modernisation.
