The office- bearers of Sukkur Small Traders (SST) have called upon the management of Hyderabad Electric Supply Comapany (HESCO) at Sukkur to immediately end load-shedding and ensure constant power supply. In a statement issued on Saturday, Haji Hussain Harron said that the frequency and duration of power outage has increased during the past couple of months.
This, he said, has resulted in the loss of business however, traders are receiving "inflated" monthly power bills. He called upon the authorities to direct HESCO Sukkur to pay compensation to the traders for the losses caused by power outages.
