Provincial Minister for Industries Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said that government is speeding up a project enhancing the sphere of CNG rickshaws scheme and has started it from Wednesday in Sialkot where the government will dole out 700 CNG rickshaws among applicants.
In his speech to a delegation - made up of Nazmeen, councillors and the city's representatives - at his home here on Wednesday, he said that government was giving 1,000 flats to workers on Wednesday and repairing and building road projects and other development schemes. He also said the overall cost of these schemes was estimated more than Rs 5 billion, pledging that Sialkot would also be made a drug-free city in three months.
