The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has approved a trade delegation to Japan trade exhibition, which will be held from September 3, officials said on Wednesday.
The delegation comprises representatives of 15 various companies, they said, and added these 15 companies would exhibit textile fabrics, home textiles, textile garments, knit garments, leather products, leather apparel and leather products, manicure and pedicure, surgical instruments, fishing pliers, orthopedics, plastic surgery instruments etc.
Officials said the delegation had been divided into five categories to display the locally manufactured items in the exhibition. These categories represented textile, leather and leather goods, surgical instrument, sports goods, furniture, gems and jewellery, interior carpets and handicrafts, they added.
The export companies, which would exhibit textile products, are Faisal Fabrics Ltd, Sinee International (Pvt) Ltd, J.K. Brothers Pvt Ltd, Inter Fashion, while the Talon Sports Pvt Ltd, Nova Leather Pvt Ltd, Hub Leather Pvt, would show their leather products.
Surgical instruments would be displayed by Afzal Saeed Meg Corp, Chandgee Mfg. Co, Prime Star Instruments, Healing Surgical Corporation, they said. In the sports items category, Sesil Pvt Ltd, GAF Corporation and in the furniture, gems and jewellery, interior, carpet & handicrafts category, Faizan Traders and Homemakers companies would participate in the Japan exhibition, officials added.
In the textile category: textiles, fabrics, home textile, textile garments, fabrics of all kinds and knit garments have been included. In the category of leather goods: leather products, shoes, textile garments, jacket, bags, leather apparel and leather products.
Similarly, in the surgical instrument category: surgical and dental manicure instruments, fishing pliers, orthopedic and plastic surgery instruments will be displayed. Moreover, in the category of sports goods: martial art uniform, accessories of sports wear, footballs, volleyballs and boxing gloves will be exhibited. Carpets under the furniture, gems and jewellery, interior, carpets and handicrafts category will be shown in the exhibition.
