NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling weakened slightly against the dollar on Friday due to demand from multinational companies in sectors like telecommunications buying hard currency to settle transactions, traders said.
At 1050 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.30/50 per dollar, compared with 103.20/40 at Thursday's close.
