University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz has urged his staff and students to follow the principles of unity, faith and discipline given by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
In his speech, after hoisting the national flag on Tuesday, he called for remembering the services of those who sacrificed their lives for the achievement of our motherland. He congratulated the staff and students and asked them to work hard.
He also distributed prizes among winners of a cricket match organised by the university employees to mark the Independence Day. The university's Jamia Masjid also held a Quran Khawani.
