M Shafi Malik, founder of Guard Group and father of former President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Shafi Malik was laid to rest on Friday.
His funeral prayers were offered at the FCC Ground. Governor Khalid Maqbool, PML (Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, former Governor Punjab Shahid Hamid, PML(N) leader Pervez Malik MNA, PPP leaders Jahangir Badar, Haji Aziz ur Rehman Chan and Zakria Butt, former law minister Khalid Ranjha, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Shahid Hassan Shaikh, Senior Vice President Mubashar Shaikh, Vice President Yaqoob Izhar Tahir and Information Joint Secretary Shahid Khalil, former FPCCI President Jamil Mahboob Magoon, President Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate Mian Nauman Kabir and the business community attended the prayers led by Pir Riaz Hussain Shah.
Meanwhile, Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Shahid Hassan Sheikh, Senior Vice President Yaqoob Tahir Izhar, Vice President Mubasher Sheikh and other Executive Committee members have grieved the death of Pakistan Movement worker, philanthropist and Guard Group founder Chairman Muhammad Shafi Malik (Sitara-e-Imtiaz).
Office-bearers and the Executive Committee members paid tribute to Mumtaz Bakhtawar Memorial Hospital Chairman Malik for his services he did for the business community.
