NAB Frontier has arrested a Sub Inspector Police (Investigations) while accepting bribe money in presence of a Magistrate from the parents of a boy against his release on Friday. Reports said the Sub Inspector (SI), Michini Police Station, Rustam Khan was arrested by the NAB (F) officials red handed while accepting the bribe money.
The Magistrate recovered the tinted currency notes of Rs 4, 000 from the pocket of the accused. NAB (F) issues a press release stating that boy's father lodged a with NAB that his son has been apprehended by the Police Station Michini and the SI is demanding Rs 6, 000 bribe money assuring not to torture their son further during the investigation.
The parents told the officials that the Rustam while talking to them on mobile phone handed over the cell to their son and they heard the cries and screaming of their son while being beaten by the police at night.
The father of the ill-fated boy further informed the NAB that he had already paid Rs 2000 to the sub inspector but he was demanding Rs 4000 more and in case of non compliance the police will continue to torture his son.
