The Karachi Port handled 69,615 tonnes cargo including 49,504 tonnes import, 20,111 tonnes export cargo and 4,618 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 62,879 tonnes dry cargo including 44,150 tonnes general cargo; 2,111 tonnes fertiliser; 11,690 tonnes coal; 4,928 tonnes cement and 6,736 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Six ships namely Vema Ocean, Conti Germany, LTB Thunder Lightning, Al-Waqra, Ibrahim G and Sp 5-Eric G Gibson sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Pu He, MOL Ability, Kapitan Byankin and Yordan Lutibrodski are currently at the berths. Five ships namely Hanjin Ningbo, Artistry, Pu He, Havi Trader and Kapitan Byankin expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Planet Ace and Cruiser are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Four vessels viz MT Swat, APL Shenzhen, Mystras and Senator due to arrive on Tuesday, while six ships namely MT Lalazar, Corinthiakos, YM Fortune, Hyundai Highway, Sea Princess and Beluga Fascination are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 40,323 tonnes comprising 16,377 tonnes import and 23,946 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,952 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 5,973 tonnes edible oil; 1,166 tonnes cement and 33,184 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely CV Sima Paya, CV MSC Amrica, CV Emirates Gondwana and MT Suzanne sailed out to sea during the report period, while another vessel viz MT Chem Cosmos is expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
A total of five ships namely MSC Lugano, Nedlloyd Africa, Artic Voyager, Anna-a and BW Danube carrying containers, seeds and diesel oil are currently at the outer anchorage.
Five vessels viz CV Emirates Gondwana, CV Sima Paya, CV MSC Amrica, MV Sinai and MT Chem Cosmos are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours. Four vessels viz CV MSC Lugano, CV Nedlloyd Africa, MT CE Pacific and MV Anna-a due to take berths at Container Terminal, FOTCO Terminal and Multipurpose Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Five vessels viz MT Sea Lion, MV Safaga, MV Beluga Firtation, CV Pacheco and Maersk Nontana due to arrive on Wednesday, while four more ships namely CV Ibn Sina, CV Lucein, CV ACX Marguerite and Keefan are due to arrive on Thursday.
