The Lahore Division Sarafa and Jewellers Association demonstrated robberies in jewellery shops here on Thursday. Addressing shopkeepers, Lahore Division Sarafa and Jewellers Association Chairman Muhammad Ahmad said that after these robberies, the administration had failed to save the lives of people.
"The administration is just providing security to the government instead of the common people," he added. He announced that association would continue protest unless culprits were arrested.
The demonstrators also held banners and chanted slogans against police. Traders Association Multan Road President Mehr Mahmood Ahmad and Chief Organiser Association Haji Muhammad Akram were also present.
