'Strategy evolved to check population boom in Punjab'

Punjab Population Welfare Minister Nasim Lodhi has said that good health of mother and child is the guarantee of strong Pakistan for which the population welfare department has evolved a co-ordinated strategy in which a large number of Ulema of different schools of thought have been included.
The provincial minister said here on Wednesday that department has been directed to accelerate the on-going awareness campaign among the people to control population so that a balance between population and resources could be created and the country could be put on the road to progress and prosperity.
