LHC moved against interest rate

A Lahore High Court Bar Association member has approached the Lahore High Court, saying the banks should be told to minimise the interest rate of credit cards. Petitioner MD Tahir said banks were receiving 30 to 40 percent mark-up on credit cards on per month basis.
"The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has failed to perform its statutory duty to check the illegal activities of the banks," he said.
