Ahmed Jawed an officer of Secretariat Group assumed the charge of the office of Federal Secretary, Ministry of Privatisation and Investment on his promotion to BS-22 here on Thursday. Prior to this he was serving as Additional Secretary Finance Division.
Ahmed Jawad did his Masters in English Literature from Government College Lahore and diploma in Development Economics from ISVE Naples, Itlay. He remained Additional Secretary Economic Affairs Division and held various positions in the establishment, interior divisions.
He participated in various international conferences, joint ministerial commissions, seminars and workshops including Pak-Oman, JMC, Pak-Bangladesh JEC, Pak-Afghan JMC, Pak-Tunisia JMC, Pak-Turkey JMC, Asian workshop on Reform of International Aid Architecture, Dhaka, International conference on Afghanistan, London, Millennium Development Goals in Asia & Pacific, Manila and Development Forum, Paris.-PR
