The University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Lahore has announced the results of MSc in Medical technology (first year) annual examination 2007. This is the first time that an MSc degree programme in medical technology has been launched in Pakistan. It is a globally growing discipline.
Medical technologists are vital healthcare detectives who uncover and provide laboratory information from laboratory analysis that assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment, as well as disease monitoring or prevention.
A university notification said 12 candidates appeared in the exams out of them 10 passed and two flunked. Muhammad Absar got distinction in microbiology and immunology.
