A University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore syndicate held a meeting on Monday to start five new under-graduate and post-graduate four years BS (Honours) degree programmes this year.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz chairing the meeting also approved the university budget for 2007-08. The new under-graduate programmes are BS (Hons) in applied microbiology, fisheries and aquaculture, poultry science, bio-informatics and dairy technology.
