Rich tributes paid to Punjab University vice chancellor

Punjab University syndicate in its meeting here on Wednesday paid rich tribute to the Vice-Chancellor Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd). While addressing the meeting, senior member former Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Iqbal said that unprecedented development under the dynamic leadership of Arshad Mahmood has been made during the last eight years.
"He is the great leader who has given new direction to PU. His strategic vision brought normalcy, law and order congeniality on campus". He said that the best enabling environment has been provided to the students while modern laboratories and new departments have been established.
The other members appreciated the tremendous growth and infrastructural development and expansion in research/academics and welfare of students and staff during the office of Arshad Mahmood.
