As many as 1,000 more would be sent to the European universities for pursuing Ph.D. courses. This was stated by the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Professor Dr Atta-ur-Rahman.
He was speaking as chief guest at the employees' excellence award ceremony at the International Centre for Chemical Sciences (ICCS), HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi, on Wednesday.
