Ongoing talks with government: personal issues not driving force for Benazir

Personal issues were not the driving force for the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leadership, party's information secretary Sherry Rehman said about the ongoing dialogue between Benazir Bhutto and President's men. The meeting between the representatives of two hitherto estranged personalities resulted in a satisfactory arranged in Dubai on Tuesday evening.
Describing the arrangements finalised as dialogue between the PPP and the government, for restoration of democracy, she said the arguments hinged round the holding of free, fair, and transparent elections as well as a sense for maintaining a balance of power between the President and the Parliament.
