Retail price of live broiler chicken has fallen by Rs 6 to 92-kg on supply increase, market sources said here on Saturday. Secretary of Pakistan Poultry Association Rafiquddin said that supply position has improved in the market due to rise in poultry production in the interior of Sindh and suburbs of Karachi.
He said that prices had gone up to as high as Rs 110-kg due to damage of poultry farms after heavy rains and floods in, he added. He said that prices have declined by at least Rs 18 in last 15 days in the market.
